FAQ
Questions about Lambeth IP services.
Lambeth IP is a patent technology service for customers who need structured evidence, not a law firm or legal-advice provider.
Frequently asked questions
Who does Lambeth IP serve?
Our tools and services are designed specifically for search firms, law firms, corporations managing IP portfolios, and inventors. We provide targeted, professional-grade evidence mapping tailored for high-stakes IP decisions.
Can you work with our existing search firm or outside counsel?
Yes. Lambeth IP is a collaborative intelligence layer. We can ingest static search reports from your preferred vendors and elevate them with deterministic mapping, giving your counsel verifiable, passage-linked evidence to accelerate their review.
How is this different from a standard search report?
Traditional reports often deliver disconnected lists or opaque summaries. Lambeth IP delivers a transparent, deterministic evidence map—connecting your claims directly to source passages, figures, and historical context. You spend time making decisions, not hunting for the needle.
How do you guard against AI hallucination?
Our evidence is deterministic and source-linked. Every reference is tied to a verbatim passage you can open and verify against the original document—you are never asked to trust an unverifiable AI-generated summary.
Can you explain why a particular reference was returned?
Yes. Each reference is mapped element by element to the claim limitation it discloses, with the exact passage, figure, or citation context attached—so you can see why it is relevant, not just that a model ranked it highly.
Do you use our data to train AI models?
No. Your data is never used to train third-party AI models. Confidential materials are handled under NDA with data isolation by design and US-based infrastructure, and independent security attestations are pursued as your engagement requires.
Do you provide legal advice?
No. Lambeth IP is not a law firm. Customers should rely on qualified counsel for legal opinions, filing strategy, clearance decisions, and prosecution advice.
Should I submit confidential details through the intake form?
Use the intake form for high-level project context. Do not submit highly confidential details until appropriate protections and engagement terms are in place.
How are engagements priced and scoped?
Report and monitoring terms are scoped to the portfolio, product, technology field, or campaign. The controlling scope is the executed Order Form and applicable terms.
